Phil Chong, CFA®

Phil Chong brings over 15 years of experience in the investment management industry, with a background spanning trading, investment operations, and portfolio implementation. As Director of Operations, Phil focuses on building efficient operational infrastructure and strengthening the systems and processes that support advisors, investment teams, and client service.

Prior to joining the firm, Phil spent more than a decade at First Foundation, where he began his career in operations before going on to lead the firm’s trading function as Trading Supervisor. In that role, he oversaw trading activity across equities, fixed income, and mutual funds, maintained disciplined execution processes, and worked closely with the investment team on portfolio implementation and execution.

Phil earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Irvine and became a CFA charterholder in 2016.

Away from the office, Phil enjoys spending time with his family and his two dogs, Google and Euro, and is always on the lookout for a great new restaurant.
